• Matthew Soble - Matt provides multi-disciplinary legal services to individuals and corporations throughout Canada and abroad, including law firms in the United States of America and the United Kingdom, with a strong focus on corporate/commercial law, tax planning, estate planning, intellectual property, and entertainment and sports. Matt is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Halton County Law Association and the Sigma Chi Fraternity Bar Association.  He is also a long-time member of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences and has been a judge for Canada's JUNO Awards many times.  Matt earned his Honours Bachelor of Music Therapy (with Honours and Distinction) from Wilfrid Laurier University and his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Osgoode Hall Law School.  Matt can be reached at 905-844-7585, x201 / msoble@soblelaw.ca.

• William J. MacLeod, Q.C. (Retired / Consultant) – A holder of the rare and prestigious title of "Queen's Counsel", Bill has retired from practicing law after more than fifty (50) years in the profession and now serves as a consultant to the team at Soble & Associates. Before passing his practice to Matt, Bill’s practice focused on corporate/commercial law, real estate law and wills/estates. Bill is a past President of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce, a past board member for the United Way of Oakville, the 1995 Campaign Chair for the United Way founding director, current member of the Advisory General of the Oakville Community Foundation, and a founding and long-standing member of Home Suite Hope Shared Living Corp. (a charity which creates affordable transitional housing in Halton for people who are homeless or in a housing crisis).  Bill’s community involvement has also extended to several other charitable organizations by way of board participation and pro bono legal services, including the Oakville Waterfront Festival, Lions Club and Lions Homes for Deaf People.  Bill can be reached through 905-844-7585, x203 and/or by emailing him through our Contact Us page.

• George Babits (Of Counsel) – George's practice focuses on assisting high net worth individuals and businesses, including estate planning for Canadians, structuring ownership of US real estate for Canadian snowbirds and investors, and developing solutions for tax mitigation, efficiency and compliance on both sides of the border.  George is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and the Toronto Lawyers Association, and is on the Member Advisory Board for TIGER 21, whose 500+ members collectively manage personal assets of approximately $50 billion.  George earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Ottawa, and has also completed the Certificate Program in Negotiation and Leadership from Harvard Law School.  George can be reached through 905-844-7585, x203 / gbabits@soblelaw.ca.
